Choose the route that matches the question:
- Use the home page for booking photos, arrest records, recent bookings, roster steps, and request guidance.
- Use Most Wanted for safe warrant verification.
- Ask Knox County Detention Center about current custody, release details, or facility-held photos.
- Ask the Sheriff for local arrest reports, citations, or deputy records.
- Ask the Circuit Court Clerk for a disposition or a case that CourtNet guest search no longer displays.
- Use Kentucky Offender Online Lookup for Kentucky DOC records.
- Use the federal BOP or ICE locator for federal or immigration custody.
Requesting a McCreary Record
A written Kentucky Open Records Act request is the main fallback when no public feed supplies the needed file. Address it to the custodian for the agency that created or holds the record. Pine Knot, Stearns, and Whitley City have no municipal police departments, so there is no city records office for their arrests.
- Give the full name, approximate date range, community, and arresting agency if known.
- Name the exact item sought, such as an arrest report, citation, booking record, photograph, or release record.
- Ask the Sheriff whether Knox holds a separate facility copy when custody occurred there.
- Keep the written response. KRS 61.880 generally requires a decision within five days, excluding weekends and legal holidays, or a written explanation of delay or exemption.
No official page reviewed promises that a request will produce a booking photo. Under KRS 61.872, access remains subject to the record held and any applicable exception.
